If I owend the place I would charge you triple. If you can't afford to buy it out right how can you say you are responsible to take care of it. And with that case I am sure they didn't have the money to feed the dog the proper puppy food whiched more than likely caused problems and led to vet bills they can't pay for. So who else to blame RIGHT! Yeah we got a pet smart now, but you know you don't get the kinds of animals you want. It's plain and mainly sells products not animals. Yes it is bright and clean with friendly faces. But if you ever ask Paridise Island Pets a question they help you or they will find out the answer. Yes from time to time there are days that the store looks a little bad. But I been there at night, when 20 people or so came in at once with only 2 people to handle the place. It gets a little crazy I agree. But that should tell you something. You should see they have good people and good business that keeps them going each year. More than likely you came at a bad time or a bad day. As far as the Humane Society goes, they came in like the Feds at the time a order was dropped off. I watched boxes being cut open that had animals in it that they orderd to stock the tanks. Keep in mind this shipment comes from a outside vendor. Of coarse you have dead things from time to time. Who can help that!!! They took animals that were not even under their care yet. Hell they had know clue what shape things are until they open the box. As far as the Humane Society goes, They can kiss my a#@!!!! I would rather shoot my animal then let those lazy people say they will take care of it. All I can say to all of you is, if you do not like the place don't go. If there is a reason you hate it, let them know about it. But know one has the b#@@s to confront them, just to write bad reviews. They know business, 2 gyms a tanning place and a 3rd gym coming soon and the pet shop.
Pros: everything
Cons: none

I bought a dog from there that they said they bred themselves, tried to register him and I can't why because his papers don't match. Isn't this fradulant? Called the store the "sales associate" couldn't tell me anything and gave me the owners number, who I called and all she did was yell at me and told me I didn't know what I was talking about. My puppy was extremely sick, he had worms at 12wks old, the vet said he was given too many shots and not given enough time between them. Of course, do you think they would give me any kind of reimbursement? No because I didn't take him to their quack of a vet. Don't waste your money, go to reputable breeder. There's a very nice pet shop in Palmyra their a retired couple who are now fufilling their dreams... and it shows
Pros: none
Cons: too many to list
