Worst purchasing experience in my life.. Do not buy anything from these people. Immediately after I made my order, I noticed I made a mistake and accidently ordered 2 of the book, so I contacted them. By the time they got back to me, they said it was too late to help me and the order was already shipped. Unbelievable, considering my immediate response. They fail to acknowledge their own policies.

Poor experience. I purchased a book from Midtown Scholar Bookstore, owned by Eric Papenfuse and Catherine Papenfuse, that was described as "Crisp, clean and unread hardcover with light shelfwear to the dust jacket- VERY NICE!" The book showed up with a remainder mark to one edge, that wasn't mentioned anywhere in the item description. I asked to send the book back for a refund but was denied, although their own website states their refund policy as "A buyer is eligible to receive a full refund, including shipping, if a book is not in the condition described." They don't honor their own policies. Based on this poor experience, I will not be purchasing any books from Midtown Scholar Bookstore ever again.
