Beware not what it appears to per the reviews. This place some time ago had two columns of health violations in the Lancaster newspaper . The food is below marginal, the servers are rude . The place has curb appeal but it stops there . Dont waste your time or money . We gave the place a couple chances and have decide never again.

Good food, family resturant with convicted $ex offender on staff. Like the food a lot. Very disappointed to see that my server showed up on the $ex offender website and that the owner thinks that is OK.

pkenter review is a sad, misleading commentary ... our family loves Country Meadows!. The previous review that we read by "pkenter" was a sad commentary on a person who either has a grudge or is just a miserable person. I happened upon their review and, while i was aware of the health report in the paper, i was sorrry to hear of someone who would take the time to be so dramatic and mis-lead to hurt a restaurant or a business owner in our community.

Country Meadow's is a wonderful family restaurant where you walk in and feel at home. The food has been delicious, the servers treat my girls with kindness and know them by name, the cleanliness has been above most restaurants in our area, we love the burgers and honey-dipped fried chicken, AND we will wait in line any morning for breakfast, and we often do. Thanks Sally!

15 paragraphs of Critical Food Code Violations and Repeat Violations! Country Meadows was a nice place to eat when they first opened, but after a year or two the owner, Sally Crapp, was nowhere to be seen. The crowds quit coming, the service was extremely poor, food was missing ingrediants & was cold, customers got sick, and you could not dine without pesty flies. Now it is in print why. For years, customer complaints went unanswered. It remains to be seen if Sally's attitude changes and she can get the place cleaned up. It has been over 6 weeks since first inspection and there are still major food violation issues!

homestyle. Great homestyle meals. The breakfasts are hard to beat. Stuffed French Toast, Pumpkin Pancakes, baked oatmeal, and much more. It's hard to find this type of restaurant.

User review by sdj284. Long wait because the food is so good. My family LOVES the french toast!!!Be sure to try the ones in the fall! We can't wait to go back when we are in pa. Even the Kids love it and don't mind the time it takes!

Awesome! You HAVE to eat here.. They need to expand, because the food is absolutly wonderful. You get large helpings, of good ole home cooked food. They always have at least a dozen breakfast specials,and at least 1 nightly specials. It is always full, and you usually need to wait for a table. That's because of the wonderful food.
