Authentic? Yes, Good? No. I was very disappointed. This is the closest Mexican restaurant to me and based on the one other review here, I thought it would be worth checking out. I didn't have super high expectations, was just hoping for a decent meal. Not so, the service left everything to be desired and the food is very low quality. I initially noticed this was kind of a no frills place with the basket of broken up chips and Americanized salsa. I ordered one meal, which I ate there (ate half) and another to go. Both were barely edible at best. I had to ask the waitress for more soda, and for the check...otherwise I'd still be there. All I can say is that I've eaten in Mexico enough times to know this is authentic Mexican cuisine. Unfortunately there is poor (diner food) in Mexico too.

Best Family Owned Mexican Restaurant in the Harrisburg area.. If you like Mexican food your will love El Rodeo. The service is fast. They have a great selection of all of your south of the border favorites. Whether your in the mood for something light like a taco salad, burritos or something more substantial like fajitas or a Grande Dinner, El Rodeo will not disappoint you. Their food is fresh, made to order and hot. I have yet to be disappointed by this family owned restaurant. This location does not have a liquor license (B.Y.O.B.) They will provide set ups.
