Disappointed. The ambiance was good, the food was good, and the service was ok.

The only downside occurred while being served and the waitress dropped a pickle on the table (not on the paper tablemat, but the table) and picked it up and placed it back on the plate.

We wondered what would have happen if this came about in the kitchen and the pickle fell on the floor. It's too bad for; expect for this event, we enjoyed our visit.

A NEW TYPE OF DISCRIMINATION. Don't eat at this place if you enjoy dining out as a single. The hostess will offer you a seat at the counter and if you decline she will make you wait while she seats couples who arrive after you.

I was willing to give Brother's a 2nd try this morning and, again, I was treated with the same disrespect by the hostess when I declined to sit at the counter.

I had been eating at this restaurant for almost 30yrs as a family but I am now a widow and my daughters have grown and moved to other States so I must dine alone.

Needless to say, I left the restaurant and went to a place where they treat me like a welcome guest/customer. Goodbye Brother's Restaurant in Mechanicsburg, Upper Allen Twsp. I will not be returning to experience this discrimination yet again by the same very rude hostess.

Excellent Food. I recently discovered this place and I was pleasantly suprised to discover how tasty the food is. In addition, the staff was very friendly. Overall a pleasant dining experience.

Dirty. My daughter was served a drink with ants in it on 3/14/09. Their response was: sorry, there is not much more we can do about the ants. That has happend before.
