What a night last night. Awesome service, Awesome food, Awesome value. Our waitress was a joy and the presentation of the food was WONDERFUL!! You cannot help but watch other peoples food go by and get hungry. All the dishes I saw were artistically presented. You can tell they have a "Chef" and not a "Cook". The question is, will the food taste as good as it looks???? The answer is a resounding YES!! My goodness were we full when we left. The portions are very generous ~ and the flavor so wonderful you cannot bear to leave any on your plate. Guaranteed to be a return customer!!!! The previous comment on service must be a fluke. We were a party of two sitting next to a party of 12. Their waitress as well as ours was VERY accomodating and helpful. They return to the table often to make sure all is well and you have no needs. If you have one, they satisfy it. Thanks much for a great evening out!!

Pros: Parking is a breeze, the ambience is great, our waitress was a doll!!!

Cons: NONE experienced

We had a group of 8. When the reviews state that Pesce is not good for groups, believe it. The food was great; ambiance is very nice, but thank god our waitress knew how to say "I'm sorry" because she said it a lot. We received our appetizers (very good) and she forgot one. We reminded her and it finally came out with the entrees. (She told us "no charge"). With several drink orders, we had to remind her 2 times. She forgot to bring a take-home box for one of our meals; we reminded her, and she brought the wrong meal.(She did bring a small replacement meal) We got our bill and guess what? We're charged for the salad. The bill at that time was $241.00. She brought the "corrected" bill back...and now, it's $280.00. Oops...she forgot the automatic gratuity for 8 or more. Our party asked me to talk to the waitress, and that's where the fun REALLY started. Here's a brief summary of the antics: 1)The waitress blamed her mistakes on a "busy night" at Pesce (not my problem). 2)The waitress blamed her mistakes on one of our party who was inebriated. (was NEVER a problem for her; she served him! ) 3)When I informed her I had no intent of paying the "included-gratuity", once I'd discovered what it was, she said I understand, and I asked to speak to the manager. She told me SHE was the manager. That was when she mentioned 1 & 2 above. 4)After she had insulted our inebriated friend, another staff member came over and asked if she could help. I informed her that I was fine talking to the manager. Surprise! The new staff who intervened was the REAL MANAGER! 5)Our waitress denied ever telling me she was manager and continued to interrupt every statement I made until the manager told her to leave. In the end, the manager made nothing but excuses for our waitress and after 3 times asking her how she was going to correct this, she told us to leave and she paid the check! Great place...if you can avoid the service...or love playing guessing games!

Pros: Food; ambience

Cons: Customer Service; treatment of patrons

The first time I went there was with a group. I didn't eat fish, but they assured me I could get something other then fish. They were right. I told the server that I don't like fish and wanted to know what he recomended. He recomended Escobar (I hope I spelled that right). He told me if I didn't like it, he would give me something else. I loved it. I have gone back at least 20 more times and have had esquisite meals each and every time. I have found that if you get there too late, you may miss out on some of the specials, but there is always something else wonderful to order. I have never been disappointed. It is a great place for intimate dinners or gathering for groups (if you call ahead). Service isn't the fastest, but that may because they see to your every need which takes longer.

Pros: fresh and innovative dishes

Cons: parking can be trying

We had a wonderful evening at Pesce! Service was outstanding and the food was top notch. We started our meal with the 'Pesce Crab Chowder' and we loved it. For our entrees I had the 'Paella Madrid' and my friend had the 'Seafood Linguini'; both servings were large and absolutely delicious. Our waitress was very attentive, friendly, and professional. The restaurant location has much to be desired: it's located in a run-down strip mall. But, don't judge a book by it's cover! Inside it's tastefully decorated and very clean. I can even label it as up-scale. I wouldn't consider it as 'family oriented' or 'kid-friendly', but perfect for intimate dinning or small adult groups. Our bill came to about $62.00, and that included two light beers. It was well worth it, and I'm sure we'll be visiting there again!

Pros: Service, Food Quality, Serving Size, Atmosphere

Cons: Location

The Pesce is a gem of a restaurant, but perhaps a bit overpriced. Our dinner for two, ie two salads, drinks and a shared entre came out to $91. The service, the wine, and the salads were all completely enoyable, but our entree, pistachio encrusted grouper, was overwhelmingly SWEET! It was like having fish served on vanilla rice pudding. From the description on the menu we never suspected it was as sugar laden as Captain Crunch. Be sure to inquire about the entree you choose, and you will probably have a great experience!

Pros: service, creative menu

Cons: neighborhood, menu perhaps more creative than you suspect!

Though Pesce is located in a sketchy area, the food and service are great! If this place could find a better location it could definitley be a hot spot. I had a delicious bottle of wine from Sicily, excellent fish ---more fish choices than I have EVER seen before. Servers were young, polite, promt, and very attentive. All individuals I dinned with were very happy. The bill was very decent. I definitley recommend the place~!

Pros: Menu choices, Staff, Price

Cons: Location, Ambiance
